Canada’s First Ultra Urban Communal Stormwater System – Mississauga, ON
Calling all innovative water management companies! You might have seen that Credit Valley Conservation (CVC) received an FCM grant to develop innovative communal stormwater management system designs spanning across public and private property! – Learn more
We are looking for leading edge vendors that can address stormwater quality, quantity, peak flow, erosion control, inflow/infiltration, pollution prevention and real time controls. The problems are complex, we need outside-of the box thinkers! Your products could be recommended in the conceptual design and ultimately be part of the solution and get us one step closer to Canada’s first built ultra-urban communal stormwater system.
If this project excites you and you want to learn more, join us on December 11th, 2019 for a webinar that introduces you and your company to the project! The webinar will provide a project overview, site characteristics, define the technical objectives for the communal design, and outline our expectations. The webinar presentation will include a question and answer period to clarify any uncertainties about the project, requirements, conceptual designs, etc.
Following the webinar, there will be two half-day design workshop options to meet, showcase your product and see the draft conceptual designs in person; 1) CVC Head Office, Mississauga, ON, on Jan 27, 2020 OR 2) CVC Head Office, Mississauga, ON, on March 24, 2020. Vendors can attend one or both design workshops.
The workshops will provide you with an overview of existing conditions, draft conceptual designs and recommendations for how your product could be incorporated. To maximize this opportunity, we request that interested vendors bring their knowledge and creativity and are open to providing CVC with drawings and product design information. Your information will help CVC to draft and finalize the conceptual designs for the next phases of the project.
