Course Description

Practitioners of low impact development have several tools at their disposal to meet water quality and quantity design targets identified within a site or neighbourhood’s stormwater management plan.  It is important to understand LID types, functionality, and critical implementation processes during construction. The LID construction e-learning course will walk participants through the first 3 critical steps of LID implementation: verification of design, tender and contract, and pre-construction. Key insights and lessons learned garnered from the field will be shared at each of the steps. To aid participants in retention of information shared, activities and quizzes have been interspersed throughout the e-learning course.
